How We Value Companies
Our assumption is that we are purchasing a “going concern.” All operating and non-operating assets not deemed to be redundant are to be included. If we are paying for $x in income, we expect to purchase everything needed to generate $x in income.
We do not price inventory, accounts receivable, and other commonly separated assets outside of the enterprise value.
